About Me
Hi, I'm Tom
I'm a self-employed photographer based in The Hague, The Netherlands. With five years of experience working with individuals, all the way up to large organisations, I'm am adept and able to cater to your needs as a client.
From one off commissions to long term collaboration, I am more than happy to work along with you to make sure that we find a structure that fits you.

A little more about myself ...
Growing up in the North-west of the United Kingdom meant that I was always surrounded by nature, even if it was a little windswept and soaked by the rain. It did however, instil me with the strong desire to be outside and go on many walks, I think photography really started as a natural extension of that. I would see so many beautiful vistas, that at some point, you really do just want to document everything.
I eventually moved to The Netherlands, so that I could pursue an education in a new country and new place, a place that has ended up being my home. I studied at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, and I studied Fine Art and focussed on painting. I originally ended up doing a lot of photography to act as reference material for paintings and drawing, until I simply came to enjoy the act of photography more than being in a studio and paint. The call to be outside was simply too strong and in the end, it has suited me just fine to be out and about with a camera by my side!
Photography has become a second nature to myself, I have a camera with me pretty much all the time and simply love the process of creation through photography. As it is something that I have come to enjoy so much, it's got to the point where it only really makes sense to work with others to help them realise their vision through a lens. Collaboration with clients forms a key part of what I enjoy about work as a photographer, I may enjoy working in my own particular style, but it is very important to allow others to enter into that process, it means that they get to see the images that they which to see, but also allows myself to work in new and interesting ways.
I am always curious as to where this path as a photographer will take me, safe to say, I am very happy as to where this has brought me thus far and I am excited to see where I end up next!
